The Seymour Duncan TB-14 is identical to the SH-14 bridge pickup, but with Trembucker spacing for guitars with greater than 2.00" string spacing (E to E) at the bridge.
The Seymour Duncan TB-14 Custom 5 Trembucker Pickup is like a higher output '59 Model pickup with a deeper bottom end and expanded output. Perfect for pop, country, blues, classic rock and heavy rock.
Developed by contributors to the Seymour Duncan web user group who replaced the ceramic or Alnico 2 magnet in an SH-5 Custom or SH-11 Custom Custom with an Alnico 5. Compared to the SH-5 and SH-11, the Custom 5's tone is more vintage, with less distortion, but it's still very strong and powerful. Clean sounds are rich and full with enhanced presence.
Comes with four-conductor hookup cable. Available only for the bridge position. Often a Custom 5 is paired with a '59 for real-deal P.A.F. tones in the neck. For balanced and warm instruments. Works especially well with rosewood fingerboards.
