The Seymour Duncan SSL-6 Custom Flat is a beefed up true single-coil Strat pickup for warm instruments. Perfect for Texas blues rock, classic rock and heavy rock. This pickup is designed for the middle position.
Use this reverse wound, reverse polarity (RWRP) middle pickup for hum-canceling in positions "2" and "4" on the five-way switch, combined with the standard wound SSL-6 pickups in the neck and bridge positions. For heavier and brighter-toned instruments with ash or alder bodies. Works well with maple or rosewood fingerboards.
