The Seymour Duncan SSL-3 CSET is a complete set of high output, mid focused Stratocaster single coils that will make your tone cut through like a humbucker. This calibrated set includes the neck, middle and bridge pickups. This 3-pickup set of hot single coils will deliver a hot, punchy midrange that will give your chords rich harmonics, and will cut through the mix more easily than any traditional Strat pickup.
These high output coils, built with taller Alnico 5 rod magnets, make an aggressive tone that will give any humbucker a run for its money. The middle pickup is RWRP, reverse wound/reverse polarity, for noiseless operation in positions 2 & 4 on your five-way switch. Starting with the modern oval bottom flatwork that fits in any guitar routed for single coils, the bobbin is built with hand ground Alnico 5 magnets, lacquered for stability, then wound and wax potted for squeal free performance.
