The Seymour Duncan SJAG-3n Quarter Pound Jaguar Neck is a high output Jaguar neck pickup with 1/4" diameter Alnico 5 rod magnets for just the right amount of high end to balance with its powerful bottom end.
The Seymour Duncan SJAG-3n Quarter Pound Jaguar neck pickup uses a custom overwound coil to give it a fat low end, and adds magnetism with its large diameter poles for a nice balance of chime and treble response. The result is a high output pickup that sounds a bit like a P90 soapbar pickup, but with the extra articulation and focus that you would expect from a Jaguar.
The Seymour Duncan SJAG-3n pickup will fit into your original claw but is meant to be mounted without a cover. Pair with the Seymour Duncan SJAG-3b Quarter Pound bridge for a great high output setup. Seymour Duncan builds these with Alnico 5 rod magnets, a custom coil wind, custom flatwork, and each pickup is wax potted for squeal free operation. Does not come with cover or claw.
