The Seymour Duncan SH-2s Classic Jazz Set is a matched set of two SH-2 Jazz Model pickups. This set includes an SH-2n Jazz Model pickup for the neck, and a matching SH-2b Jazz Model pickup for the bridge position.
The Seymour Duncan SH-2 is a classic moderate output humbucker, especially popular for jazz players. Don't let the name fool you; it's not only great for jazz, but also country, blues, funk, classic rock and heavy rock.
The SH-2 provides an articulate and clear tone. Great for fast runs. When distorted, the tone is full and bright. Smooth sustain. Compared to the SH-1 '59 Model, the Jazz has slightly less output and a more detailed treble response. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable.
Designed for balanced and warm instruments. Works especially well with mahogany bodies and rosewood fingerboards. Also works great with hollow, semi-hollow body and archtop guitars.
