The SH-1BNH is a Slant humbucker pickup designed for the Gibson Nighthawk.

The Seymour Duncan SH-1b is a versatile PAF-type humbucker similar to the original "Patent Applied For" humbucker that was invented by Seth Lover at Gibson in the 1950's. Great for country, jazz, blues, funk, classic rock and heavy rock. This pickup provides a late-'50s, vintage-correct, humbucker sound. The sound is warm with crystalline clean tones and provides full and bright distorted tones, with smooth sustain.

Classic appointments include plain enamel wire, long legged bottom plate, four conductor cable. Compared to the SH-55 Seth Lover, the '59 has slightly more scooped mids and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.

Designed for balanced and warm instruments. Works especially well with mahogany bodies and rosewood fingerboards.

Players include Ben Harper (neck & bridge), Robben Ford (neck &anp; bridge), Mike Einzinger / Incubus (neck), Robert Smith / The Cure.
