The Seymour Duncan Antiquity Texas Hot Set is a complete set of three vintage correct, hand aged Stratocaster pickups with cloth hookup wires. This set includes the Texas Hot neck pickup, the Texas Hot RWRP reverse-wound reverse-polarity middle pickup, and the Texas Hot Custom Bridge pickup.
The magnets in the Texas Hot Neck and Custom Bridge pickups are calibrated and the coils are wound "top going" with "north" magnetic polarity, the same as the early vintage models. The magnets in the middle pickup are calibrated and the coils are reverse-wound with "south" magnetic polarity, for hum cancelling in the middle position.
Hand built in the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop, they make these for the player who wants the closest re-creation of a vintage 50s Strat pickup. Period. The Antiquity Texas Hot looks and sounds as authentic as is possible with vintage, cloth push-back lead wire, custom aged cover and aged mounting hardware. Each is lacquered and potted in lamp black paraffin wax, just like the originals.
