The Schatten Player VT Preamp is a single channel endpin jack preamp that features clean, crisp sound amplification and even, flat frequency response. Schatten has taken the best features of their renowned Artist II preamp and built them into their new Player Series endpin jack preamp. This model includes soundhole mounted volume and tone controls.
The Schatten Player Preamp runs from a single 9 volt battery (not included) for up to 2000 hours. Battery power is turned on and off automatically when a cable is inserted into the jack. A trim pot on the circuit board allows fine tuning of gain adjustments from 0 to 20 dB to match your pickup (pickup not included). Soldering required. Includes wiring harness, battery holder, wire clips, volume/tone assembly, instructions.
