These longer barrel-style turnbuckle adjusters allow the use of the Schatten CJA or CJA Plus jack assemblies on a mandolin or a large viola. These adjusters will increase the maximum opening for the CJA jack to about 2-7/16" (62mm), which will accommodate most mandolins. Includes one matched pair of barrel-style adjusters only, CJA jack assembly not included.
These longer CJA Adjusters are designed to replace the ones that are included on the CJA and CJA PLUS jack assemblies. Using these adjusters, the jack opening will fit instruments from about 1-5/8" (42mm) to 2-7/16" (62mm) thick.
Note: These adjusters are specifically designed for the Schatten CJA or CJA Plus jacks that are included with the Schatten violin and viola pickups such as the VR, VR-2, VVM and VVM-2 series, or the Schatten mandolin pickups such as the M-05 or M-06 series. These adjusters will NOT work with jacks from other manufacturers, due to differences in threading.
