The McIntyre UF-07 Acoustic Feather Ukulele Pickup is a highly sensitive, moderate output pickup designed specifically for ukulele.
The McIntyre UF-07 is a very thin, lightweight pickup that easily mounts inside on the top of a ukulele. It adds so little weight to the top that it does not alter the acoustic sound of the instrument. The 1/4" endpin jack is included.
The output of this pickup is sufficient to drive an amplifier directly in most cases. If you are plugging into a mixer board or PA system or need to run the signal through effects pedals or other equipment, you may need a preamp to increase the signal strength to match that equipment. Preamp not included.
