The Kremona VC-1 is a portable, detachable pickup system specifically designed for cello. Encased in lightweight tone wood, the VC-1 sensor installs easily in the wing slot of the cello bridge, held in place by friction. Detachable and portable, the Kremona VC-1 conveniently accepts a standard 1/4" instrument cable (cable not included).
The VC-1 jack housing holds snugly to the tailpiece with a hook-and-loop strap. The pickup sensor is inserted into the wing slot of the bridge. If the wing slot is too smal to accept the sensor, the wing slot may need to be sanded slightly to provide enough room. No other modifications to the bridge or instrument are required.
