The Kremona AP-2 is an externally mounted soundboard transducer pickup with volume control that can be used for many musical instruments. Simply attach the AP-2 pickup sensor to the soundboard of your instrument with the included double-sided adhesive and plug into your amplifier with the included 8 foot 1/8" to 1/4" cable. The cable can be easily detached without removing the pickup sensor.
The AP-2 includes an integrated volume control for on-the-fly volume adjustments. The AP-2 is suitable for use with a wide variety of hollow-bodied musical instruments including acoustic guitar, ukulele, mandolin, dulcimer, lute, etc. Can also be used for many percussion instruments including Cajon, Bongos, Congas, etc. Not suitable for solid-bodied instruments.
This passive pickup has sufficient output to drive most amplifiers without the need for a separate preamp, although you may want a preamp or direct box if plugging into a PA system or mixer board.
