The Kremona AP-1 is an externally mounted soundboard transducer pickup that can be used to amplify a wide variety of hollow-bodied musical instruments. Simply attach the AP-1 pickup sensor to the soundboard of your instrument with the included double-sided adhesive and plug into your amplifier with the included 8 foot 1/8" to 1/4" cable. The cable can be easily detached without removing the pickup sensor.
The AP-1 is suitable for use with a wide variety of hollow-bodied musical instruments including acoustic guitar, ukulele, mandolin, dulcimer, lute, double bass, cello, etc. Can also be used for many percussion instruments including Cajon, Bongos, Congas, etc. Not suitable for solid-bodied instruments.
This passive pickup has sufficient output to drive most amplifiers without the need for a separate preamp, although you may want a preamp or direct box if plugging into a PA system or mixer board.
