The K&K Trinity Pro Classic System is a dual source pickup/microphone system for nylon string guitars. The Trinity Pro Classic includes the Pure Classic four sensor pickup, the Trinity internal condenser microphone, and the Trinity Pro belt-clip preamp/eq/mixer.
The K&K Pure Classic's pickup sensors produce a very natural, acoustic tone without sounding boomy or hollow. The Pure Classic sounds great in all classical and flamenco guitars and can be played hard without overloading. For flamenco guitars, the sensors will reproduce percussive sounds on the soundboard as well as the string sounds.
The K&K Trinity condenser microphone can be attached inside the guitar with the included 5" flexible boom, and provides studio-quality microphone sound for amazing depth and realism. Its extended frequency response provides outstanding deep bass and airy, clear highs that cannot be replicated with a transducer system alone.
The K&K Trinity Pro Preamp allows for individual sound adjustment of the mic and pickup. It is built using K&K's "silent filter technology" and their full size component philosophy. They use full size capacitors and other parts because they find they sound better than the miniature components in most of their competitors' preamps.
The Trinity Pro preamp is extremely versatile and powerful and features easily accessible volume controls and internally adjustable gain/EQ controls with +/-20 dB bass, midrange and treble filters (trimpots) for each individual channel, plus a phase switch for the microphone channel. A stereo cable is included to attach your guitar to the Trinity Pro belt-clip preamp. The output from the preamp is a blended 1/4" mono, you can use a standard instrument cable (not included) to connect the preamp to your amplifier, PA system or mixer board.
