The K&K Sound Trinity 12-String SOLO System includes the Pure 12-String pickup system and the Trinity Microphone, prewired to a stereo endpin jack. The Trinity 12-String SOLO is for players who already own a Trinity system with the external Trinity preamp (or Quantum Blender preamp) and want to use that preamp with other guitars. Works with Trinity Preamp, Trinity Pro Preamp or Quantum Blender (preamp not included).
The K&K Pure 12-String's larger pickup sensors produce extra strong bass response and pronounced midrange. While this bass and midrange response is too strong for many guitars, especially very resonant ones, it sounds great in 12-string guitars and is a good alternative for guitars with heavy spruce tops and maple bridge plates or guitars that have a naturally bright sound.
Note! Because the Pure 12-String pickup sensors are quite large, please check the bridge plate size of your guitar with this original size diagram of the Pure 12-String sensors. If your guitar does not have sufficient space under the bridge, you should use the Trinity Onboard Mini system instead.
The K&K Trinity condenser microphone can be attached inside the guitar with the included 5" flexible boom, and provides studio-quality microphone sound for amazing depth and realism. Its extended frequency response provides outstanding deep bass and airy, clear highs that cannot be replicated with a transducer system alone.
Note: The Trinity microphone requires the Trinity or Quantum Blender preamp (not included) to work properly. These preamps will supply power to the Trinity microphone. The Trinity microphone will not run directly from phantom power or when using other preamps.
