The K&K Sound Trinity 12-String Onboard System is designed for 12-string and other high voiced guitars. The system includes the Pure 12-String three sensor bridgeplate pickup, the Trinity internal condenser microphone, and the Trinity Onboard dual channel internal preamp/eq/mixer.
The K&K Pure 12-String's larger pickup sensors produce extra strong bass response and pronounced midrange. While this bass and midrange response is too strong for many guitars, especially very resonant ones, it sounds great in 12-string guitars and is a good alternative for guitars with heavy spruce tops and maple bridge plates or guitars that have a naturally bright sound.
Note! Because the pickup sensors are quite large, please check the bridge plate size of your guitar with this original size diagram of the Pure 12-String sensors. If your guitar does not have sufficient space under the bridge, you should use the Trinity Onboard Mini system instead.
The K&K Trinity condenser microphone can be attached inside the guitar with the included 5" flexible boom, and provides studio-quality microphone sound for amazing depth and realism. Its extended frequency response provides outstanding deep bass and airy, clear highs that cannot be replicated with a transducer system alone.
The K&K Trinity Onboard Preamp/EQ is specifically designed to blend the signals from the Pure pickups and the Trinity microphone to create the best possible combination of brilliance and depth. The mixer includes "Silent-Filter Technology" and includes controls for each channel - Gain, Bass, Midrange and Treble trim pots on the preamp circuit board for each channel, and a dual thumbwheel Volume control that is mounted at the soundhole.
