The K&K Sound Pure Resonator SB is a passive pickup system designed especially for spider bridge resonator guitars. The pickup sensor is designed to be installed inside the resonator cone on the center screw.
This high output pickup will drive most amplifiers without the need for a preamp. If you are plugging into a PA system or mixer board you may need a preamp to increase the signal strength to match that system. We recommend the K&K Pure Preamp or the K&K Pure XLR Preamp, which are perfectly matched to the Pure pickups.
