The new K&K Sound Meridian SOLO External Guitar Microphone System is an externally mounted unidirectional condenser mic that sounds silky smooth with amazing feedback rejection. Includes Meridian Microphone only, with padded carrying case -- the clamp assembly and preamp/power supply not included and are both available separately.
NOTE: The Meridian SOLO requires the Meridian Preamp/Power Supply unit (not included), or the Quantum Blender Preamp (not incuded). The Meridian microphone requires power supplied by the Meridian preamp, and it will NOT run directly from phantom power or with any other preamp.
The Meridian SOLO has the same microphone that is included with the Meridian Microphone System, but the SOLO does not include the preamp/power supply unit or the mounting clamp (both sold separately). The SOLO model is designed for those who already have an existing Meridian system or the K&K Quantum Blender and want an additional microphone for another instrument.
