Highlander pickups are coaxial with an omni-directional pickup pattern which, when combined with Highlander's advanced installation technique, senses every subtlety in the vibration of your instrument while responding perfectly to the power and dynamics of your performance. During installation the pickup is embedded in the bridge, intimately coupling it to the the guitar.
