RE: LR Baggs Imix for Nylon
Just got the imix system installed on my classical guitar. I can honestly say that this is the best pickup system that I have come across and I have tried a few. It is superb. It is just a matter of getting the settings right for the gain, low mid etc on the ibeam and setting the element correctly. Then you just blend the ibeam and the element with the mix and you are up and running. This pickup is also very powerful. You can also tell if battery power is ok because a red light comes on inside the guitar next to the preamp. I feel that this pickup system gives me added confidence when I am out gigging because i know that it will not let me down. LR Baggs products are pure quality. I also use a LR Baggs Para Acoustic DI Box and it is wonderful.
