The L.R. Baggs GigPro is a single channel belt-clip preamp designed specifically for stage use. The preamp includes a two band equalizer with an adjustable low-cut filter, which is very easy to use even during a performance. Although there are only two tone controls, the range of adjustments is quite impressive, and having a limited number of controls makes this preamp easier to use and more accessible than a direct box or outboard equalizer. The preamp uses the same type of Class A discrete circuitry as the Para Acoustic DI, which makes the GigPro transparent to the sound of the instrument, and very low noise.
The Gigpro is a single-channel belt-clip preamp that will work with most pickups. It also provides 9v phantom power for mini-mics and other phantom-powered onboard electronics. Based on the Para D.I.'s award-winning circuitry, LR Baggs has pared the features down to the essentials -- nevertheless, it has everything necessary to get the best possible sound from your pickup. For example, the two-band EQ and variable low cut is amazingly flexible and intuitive to use.
Note! Although the GigPro is designed for guitar use, it can be used with just about any instrument that has a pickup.
